A vertical AI company using smart listening technologies and proprietary
AI algorithms for precision pollination to improve crop yields and habitat monitoring
to enhance biodiversity, on a global scale.

The declining global pollinator population places our global food supply and biodiversity at risk..

"If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos."

  • Bees are under threat from multiple factors and although we know bees are dying out at a macro level, it is difficult to know what is happening at a local level in order to target recovery efforts.

  • Automating the monitoring of pollinators for precision pollination and biodiversity monitoring is possible, but unfortunately in many cases it still relies on field inspections and clipboards and we think this needs to change.

  • Governments and policymakers around the world recognise this problem and have national pollinator strategies in place to track changes in bee numbers and are now introducing new legislation for corporates to evidence their impact on nature and for farmers to reduce the use of pesticides whilst increasing food yields to meet a growing global population.

How we work

AgriSound uses machine learning to automate the detection of pollinators* using advanced sound analysis.

  • Simple install - plug and play
  • Modular kit - adaptable to different envrionments
  • Continious data year-round

Project approach:

  • Establish current pollinator levels as baseline for future development.
  • Test a range of interventions or practical changes using data to monitor impact.
  • Identify the best practices to promote pollinators and disseminate.

  • Reporting web app walks you through your insights from point of install
  • Track your impact across sites all in one place, local or global data
  • Identify key performing sites, envrionments, produce or custom practices

Tracking Impact

Identify the number of seconds in which bees have been detected in the time recorded.

Activity displayed as a percentage:

1 second of bee detection in a 10 second block
= 10% of bee activity displayed.

Monitor trends
Compare activity insights over time, identifing percentage uplift and downfalls.

Mapping
Understanding the coverage of your site is crucial to drive data driven decisons.

Maximise
Boost pollinator populations and mitigate environmental disruptions with insights from our real-time data platform year-round.

Pollination power Nature’s data revolution

1. Precision Pollination:
Optimise pollinator levels to increase yield, shelf life and nutritional quality.

2. Biodiversity Monitoring:
Use real time data to document biodiversity changes over time to inform habitat management and conservation efforts.

3. Sustainability Reporting:
Provide tangible evidence to stakeholders on the effectiveness of your interventions are having on local biodiversity as well as adherence to biodiversity regulations and guidelines, such as CSRD, BNG, TNFD & ELMs.

4. Corporate sustainability & Brand Equity:
External validation of commitment to having a positive impact on your operating environment.
